In Japanese, “Ashi” translates to foot and “Atsu” into pressure. Ashiatsu DeepFeet Bar Therapy is a barefoot massage technique in which the therapist delivers deep, broad, consistent pressure while utilizing their feet and body weight. Working with gravity instead of against it, Ashiatsu therapists can provide an effective therapeutic massage without causing pain or discomfort to themselves or the receiving client.

Ashiatsu: Initial Session

This appointment is for returning clients only. If you have not had bodywork from us before you must book an Initial session.

Ashiatsu: Return Session

This appointment is for new clients only. You must book a Return Session if you have had bodywork from us before. This listing is for a stand-alone appointment only. 

Ashi-Thai is a combination of compressive techniques and passive stretches. These movements are an expression of traditional Thai massage techniques and have been modified for the use of overhead bars to avoid bending and lifting. The technique is performed on clients fully clothed, on a raised massage table without any oils or creams. 

Please wear loose pants or leggings as well as a loose long-sleeve shirt to your appointment. Clothing should not have buttons or zippers. 

If you would like to add Ashi-Thai onto another appointment, book that appointment first and let the therapist know so they can add it to your account. Know that the duration is the same. So a 90 min (1.5 hr) will become a 180 min (3 hr) combined appointment beginning with Ashi-Thai. Add-on Ashi-Thai appointments are $125.

Each Myofascial Release Treatment session is performed directly on skin without oils or creams. This enables the therapist to accurately detect fascial restrictions and apply the appropriate amount of pressure to facilitate the release of the fascia with sustained stretches.

Myofascial Release: Return session

This appointment is for new clients only. If you have had bodywork from us before you must book a Return Session.

CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance. Using a soft touch which is generally no greater than 5 grams – about the weight of a nickel – practitioners release restrictions in the soft tissues that surround the central nervous system.
